Jennifer Lopez is showing that she’s not letting her recent breakup with Ben Affleck hold her back.
The “I’m Real” singer made a return to social media after filing for divorce from the Hollywood star, ending their two-year marriage.
At 55, the pop icon took to Instagram to share a striking selfie, marking her first post since the divorce papers were filed.
In the photo, the “Atlas” actress looked stunning, with her blonde hair styled in big, voluminous curls cascading over her shoulders. Lopez was dressed in a pink sweatshirt and gazed intently at what seemed to be a camera phone. The background featured a Christmas tree, gifts, and a clothes rack, with the selfie being reposted by a fan account.

The image appears to date back to December 2020, as celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton had shared a similar photo on his account at that time, describing the look as “Deluxe Glam Barbie.”
Lopez’s social media reappearance follows her filing for divorce from Affleck on Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Documents obtained by Fox News Digital indicate that the reason for the divorce was cited as “irreconcilable differences.”
In the documents, the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer listed April 26 as their date of separation. She also stated that she does not want either her or Affleck to receive spousal support, according to the court papers.
Lopez filed for divorce exactly two years after their wedding ceremony in Georgia.
Affleck, 52, and Lopez, 55, first exchanged vows in a surprise Las Vegas wedding in July 2022.
Court records from that time show Lopez, listed as “Party 2,” requesting a “new name” on their marriage certificate, which was filed on July 16 with the Clark County Clerk’s Office.
Affleck, referred to as “Party 1” on the document, had his full name recorded as “Benjamin Geza Affleck.” Lopez had legally adopted her husband’s last name, changing her name to “Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”
Just a month after their Las Vegas wedding, the couple hosted a second ceremony for friends and family at Affleck’s $8 million Georgia mansion, a property he bought when they first began dating 20 years ago.
