Explosive! The Far Right Is Ready to Unleash Chaos – This Post-Election Twist Will Shock You!

As Election Day draws closer, far-right extremist groups across the United States are bracing for potential violence, regardless of who wins. According to a recent report from the Guardian, these groups, fueled by frustration with the current political system, are preparing for what they anticipate could be a descent into chaos, potentially even civil war.

These extremists believe that the outcome of the election will be less impactful than the unrest they hope will follow. “Who wins or loses is less important than the effect,” the Guardian reported. With two recent assassination attempts on former President Donald Trump and an increasingly polarized political climate, extremists see cracks forming in the stability of the U.S. government.

Telegram Polls Signal Eagerness for Conflict

A recent poll on a far-right Telegram channel highlighted this growing appetite for violence. The options offered in the poll—”Trump wins, civil war kicks off” and “Kamala ‘wins,’ civil war kicks off”—illustrate the conviction that either outcome is a trigger for violence. Respondents expressed eagerness for conflict, with one user, identified as a neo-Nazi, commenting, “I say accelerate, I just can’t keep living in this degenerate hellhole indefinitely. I just want something to happen so a bunch of us can die trying, at least.”

Another account on a different far-right Telegram channel dismissed the election altogether, stating, “You’re being deceived, get back in the bunker. Collapse is how we win.” These statements reflect a belief known as “accelerationism,” a far-right ideology that encourages societal collapse as a path to building a new order from the rubble.

A Pattern of Violence and Domestic Terrorism

Accelerationism has already inspired acts of violence and terrorism. In a recent incident, federal agents in Tennessee arrested a neo-Nazi activist accused of plotting to destroy an electrical substation using a drone armed with explosives. The plan, authorities believe, was to cause widespread power outages, an event the suspect thought would spur further unrest and division along racial lines.

Experts Warn of Increased Domestic Terror Threat

The Soufan Center’s Clara Broekaert, an expert on global far-right extremism, has flagged this surge in violent rhetoric as a serious domestic threat. “For U.S. national security,” she explained, “this signifies the emergence of a faction within society that believes fundamental disagreements over values and policies can no longer be resolved through democratic engagement. Instead, they view destruction—chaos, conflict, and collapse—as the necessary means to achieve their goals.”

The convergence of these ideologies with modern communication tools like Telegram is amplifying and accelerating the radicalization of individuals within these groups. What might have once been a fringe belief is now gaining traction, and many users encourage others to abandon traditional means of social and political engagement.

“Destruction as Solution”: The Dangers of Accelerationism

At the core of this violent shift is the concept of accelerationism—a radical belief that society must be brought to ruin to make way for a different order. It’s an ideology that views government collapse and social chaos as necessary steps for rebirth.

While many members of these groups may remain online-only advocates, law enforcement and counter-terrorism experts warn that the increasingly direct rhetoric could prompt further real-world attacks. The planned attack on the Tennessee power grid is just one example of how these ideas are already influencing violent action.

What Lies Ahead?

The U.S. government, security experts, and civil society are all on alert. Whether Election Day leads to actual violence or remains an online battle of rhetoric, the presence of accelerationist ideologies and a growing far-right extremism present new risks for the future.
