Watch Brandon Gill Dominate the Debate – He’s Not Letting These Leaders Off Easy!

Texas Republican Congressman Brandon Gill isn’t mincing words—he says Americans have had enough of politicians who put illegal immigrants ahead of the very people they were elected to serve. His remarks came after a heated House Oversight Committee hearing that put big-city mayors under the spotlight over their policies on illegal immigration.

The hearing featured testimony from several Democratic mayors, including New York City’s Eric Adams, Chicago’s Brandon Johnson, Boston’s Michelle Wu, and Denver’s Mike Johnston. Gill took the opportunity to grill them on their stance toward illegal immigrants, demanding straightforward answers on controversial issues.

“My line of questioning, for instance, just to give an example, was to actually make them say yes or no. Do you believe that illegal aliens should have driver’s licenses? Do you believe that illegal aliens should have the right to vote? Do you believe illegal aliens should be given free health care? Do you believe illegal aliens should be given free abortions? And the answer to all of these questions was yes,” Gill revealed.

For him, that’s not just a political disagreement—it’s a betrayal of hardworking American taxpayers. He pointed out that while the U.S. economy struggles and the national debt balloons, elected officials are giving away benefits to those who entered the country illegally.

“That’s a huge problem for the American people, and especially for the American taxpayer who’s footing the bill for all of this, especially whenever our country is bankrupt right now,” he said.

Gill also slammed major cities for turning themselves into sanctuaries, saying they intentionally shield criminal illegal immigrants from federal law enforcement.

“Yeah, that’s a problem. And you’ve got these cities that are intentionally and as a matter of policy, harboring illegal alien criminals and hiding them basically from federal law enforcement. That’s a problem as well.”

The Texas lawmaker backed his colleague, Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, in referring these mayors for criminal investigation. He argued that their policies not only defy federal law but also undermine public safety and national sovereignty.

“I’m excited to see that. My colleague Anna Paulina Luna referred them for criminal investigation because they certainly deserve it. But the American people are sick of having people in power, in government at any level, whether it’s in Washington or at the municipal level, who are operating for the benefit of illegal aliens and not for their own constituents.”

Gill’s comments echo growing frustration across the country, as cities and states struggle with the consequences of unchecked illegal immigration. With resources stretched thin and crime surging in sanctuary cities, critics argue that local leaders are abandoning their responsibilities in favor of a progressive political agenda.

Aside from immigration, Gill and Fox News host Jimmy Failla also discussed a fiery moment in the House, where lawmakers voted to censure Texas Democratic Rep. Al Green. Green was repeatedly disruptive during former President Donald Trump’s address to Congress, leading to a rare and symbolic rebuke.

As the debate over illegal immigration intensifies, Gill’s remarks highlight a broader divide in American politics—one that pits those demanding law and order against leaders who, as he argues, prioritize non-citizens over the very people they swore to represent.
