Amber Rose isn’t losing sleep over being “canceled” for her outspoken support of former President Donald Trump. In fact, she’s standing firm in her beliefs, even as critics once tried to silence her.
The 41-year-old model revealed that her political stance cost her a significant chunk of her fanbase during the last election cycle. But now, with Trump back in the White House, she says the backlash has faded.
“During the election, I was ‘canceled,’” Rose told Maxim. “Now? All the naysayers are quiet. They see he’s already changing our country for the better.”

Known for her unfiltered approach to life, Rose shares children with rapper Wiz Khalifa and music executive Alexander “AE” Edwards. She believes that political discourse in the U.S. has become too one-sided, making it harder for people to have honest conversations.
“Unfortunately, the ‘woke’ left cancels people for having a different ideology,” she said.
But Rose refuses to let that deter her.
“Fortunately for me, I don’t give a f–k and will always stand 10 toes down until the wheels fall off, regardless of what my beliefs may be.”
The reality star admitted she once identified with liberal ideals, thinking she was on the right side of history. However, she says she’s come to a different conclusion after engaging in deeper discussions about policy and governance.
“I used to be on the left and thought I was doing the right thing,” she explained. “That’s why it’s so important to have open conversations.”
She further criticized the progressive movement, arguing that it places emotions over facts.
“On the left, there’s no objective truth. It’s only about feelings,” she said. “As a society, we all need to get back to reality and have these difficult conversations to bring us all back to a better place.”
Rose’s growing interest in politics has led to speculation about her future in the field. When asked if she might run for office or take a role in Trump’s administration, she didn’t shut the door on the idea.
“Maybe. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m definitely in love with it,” she admitted.

For now, her focus is on a new venture—one that will allow her to share her political insights with a wider audience.
“I’m excited to announce my new show. It’ll be my opinion on politics and other current events,” she revealed.
Over the past year, Rose has made her political transformation more public than ever. In July 2024, she took the stage at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, delivering a speech about her shift in perspective and her growing support for Trump.
Her appearance came just days after an attempted assassination on Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania. During her speech, she detailed how her father encouraged her to research Trump’s policies rather than blindly follow the narrative she had been told.

“My message to you tonight comes from a humble place. The left told me to hate Trump and even worse, to hate the other side, the people who support him,” she said.
“When you cut through the lies, you realize the truth. American families were better when Donald Trump was president. We were safer, wealthier, and stronger.”
As Rose steps further into the political spotlight, she’s proving that she’s not afraid to speak her mind—even if it means losing fans along the way.
