How do you ascend into heaven if you’re a four-dimensional creature?”

Critics argue that mixing faith-based ideas with scientific theories can blur the lines between empirical research and personal belief. Stephen Holler, a physics professor at Fordham University, expressed his skepticism to Popular Mechanics: “Gaps in scientific knowledge are attributed to divine intervention, rather than being seen as opportunities for further inquiry and understanding.”

The Scientific Divide

Pravica’s theory has sparked a lively debate in the scientific world. Some see his ideas as speculative, possibly leaning too much toward science fiction. Others acknowledge the merit in exploring new possibilities, even if they initially seem far-fetched. After all, the history of science is filled with examples of radical ideas that were once ridiculed but later proven correct.

However, Holler and others caution against accepting such theories without rigorous evidence. “It’s a poor explanation mechanism that arguably stifles the inquisitive nature required for good science and teaches that it’s not okay to say, ‘I don’t know,’” he said.

Despite the debate, the possibility of consciousness having a connection to higher dimensions opens up a new frontier in research.
